Born and raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Kealey Dam joined the Family Legacy team as a staff accountant in 2018. She began her career in public accounting and is now eager to add financial planning to her resume.
Kealey graduated summa cum laude from Wofford College in 2015. She continued her education at Clemson University in the MPAcc program, concentrating in tax. She received her Certified Public Accountant designation in December of 2017.
While attending Wofford College, Kealey met her husband, John Dam, a Greenville native. They both feel it is important to stay close to family and are happy to call Greenville their home. Though Kealey’s roots are in the Carolinas, she has a fascination with Paris, France and her French passion extends to their home décor, cooking, and personal style.
Kealey is actively involved in their church. She also loves walking in Falls Park with John and their two beagles, cheering on the Terriers or Tigers, and ushering at Greenville Little Theatre.
As a staff accountant at Family Legacy, Kealey spends her time planning and preparing tax returns, assisting with business valuation and litigation work, and learning the art of financial planning. She may be small, but she is always a big help!
Fun Fact about Kealey: She has a mild (maybe more than mild) obsession with holiday decorations and likes it to be a little over the top!
Kealey’s Favorite Reads: Harry Potter is definitely a favorite, but Jane Eyre is her absolute favorite book. She reads it once a year, sometimes twice!
"Sound planning and prudent living allow for a freedom of expression and a profound depth of relationship with family and friends. We seek to help all of our clients live in a space of abundance. In a word, most people eventually come to the understanding that financial independence provides them with freedom."
