Since transplanting to South Carolina in 1987, Cliff’s blood hath runneth orange. Cliff is extremely passionate about his Clemson Tigers and the education program they have to offer, as well as their elite sports teams.
Cliff joined us in 1995 and serves as our Senior Tax Accountant leading the way for our growing tax team. He is primarily responsible for year-end planning for income taxes and their implications to clients’ retirement plans. Cliff prepares various types of returns and has a vast tax knowledge and experience dealing with his friends at the IRS.
Cliff has a Masters of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Clemson University. He is a CPA and a current member of the AICPA and SCACPA.
His wife, Debbie, is a native southern belle from South Carolina. Together they enjoy spending quiet evenings at home or watching their thrilling Clemson teams march through the ACC. Though his love for South Carolina is strong, the pull to be home is always there. He and Debbie plan annual visits to see his mother in Arizona for quality family time and of course the views.
Fun Fact about Cliff: He has an impressive collection of VHS movies. So remember…” Be kind, please rewind!”
Cliff’s Favorite Reads: IRS Literature, for real. He truly loves taxes and gets sad when “his” season comes to a close each April 15th.
"Sound planning and prudent living allow for a freedom of expression and a profound depth of relationship with family and friends. We seek to help all of our clients live in a space of abundance. In a word, most people eventually come to the understanding that financial independence provides them with freedom."
