With a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies for Business & French from Wofford College and over ten years of experience at Family Legacy, Inc, Beth Jacobs approaches each new project with an air of excitement. When Chris hired her in 2007, right out of college, for a front desk position, she never knew she would be forming her long-term career.
Financial planning for Beth, is like a puzzle, pulling together pieces of clients’ life stories and financial history. Then finding the financial big picture and helping clients reach their end goals- it’s is very rewarding to see a plan come full circle. She is invested in the connections she has with clients and appreciates how Family Legacy keeps a relationship centered approach to financial planning.
Beth holds her license to sell life, long-term care, and disability insurance products and believes in the old wise words of “safety first.” Insurance is a wonderful, sometimes obnoxious, but powerful tool. When used correctly, good policies added to your financial plans can help protect your family when you might not be around to do so.
Family time has become Beth’s primary activity. She and her husband David Jacobs, spend many hours chasing around their wild crazy toddler son, Cal. They love to go on adventures seeing the natural beauty the world has to offer, also hunting for “ribbits” aka frogs. They enjoy cheering on their Wofford Terriers and Carolina Gamecocks, while spending quality time with good friends and family.
Fun Fact about Beth: Halloween is her favorite holiday and she haunts her house each year… watch out she might put a spell on you!
Beth’s Favorite Reads: One Foot in Eden, by Ron Rash, Historical Fictions, The Wheel of Time series, and of course Harry Potter!
"Sound planning and prudent living allow for a freedom of expression and a profound depth of relationship with family and friends. We seek to help all of our clients live in a space of abundance. In a word, most people eventually come to the understanding that financial independence provides them with freedom."
